I am working with a client that is looking for a Finance Analyst to become part of their team and play a lead role in two IFS Cloud implementations.
As a Finance Analyst, you will be crucial in providing consolidated financial performance views and planning support to the business’ partnering teams. You will deliver comprehensive financial analysis and contribute to the budgeting and forecasting cycle, enabling effective business decision-making within dedicated divisions.
IFS Finance Analyst Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships with crucial stakeholders throughout the organisation.
- Financial modelling – conduct all types of financial analysis (Cash flow, P&L, NPV etc)
- Development of new reports and dashboards to support business users.
- Testing and validating data sources, providing recommendations and improving these data sources, and translating change request from business users into technical requests.
- Work with data management teams and data owners across the business to support data quality improvement initiatives – through an understanding of source system processes and data flows and provision of clearly presented analysis and reports highlighting inaccuracies.
- Provide advice, provoke critical thinking, and exert influence on matters necessitating financial judgement or expertise.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Highly motivated problem solver with keen attention to detail
- IFS Experience – Apps 7 or above
- Crystal Reporting, Quick Reporting and/or Power BI (or similar) reporting and dashboard creation.
- A relevant degree qualification (or equivalent)
- Ability to write basic SQL queries to extract data for analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and mindset
- Capable of understanding and advising on commercial implications of decisions/options
- Thrive in fast-paced, changing environment.
