Job description

The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the organisation in maximising the value it receives from its investment in enterprise software and line-of-business applications.

Your will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions, as this manufacturing customer begin an upgrade project to IFS Cloud.

The trend for software solutions is away from large home-grown applications towards the configuration of third-party applications, the development of integration solutions, and the development of small applications that support human workflows.

This role will also play a key role in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that systems support the organisation's business requirements and meet the needs of end users.
  • Analyzing business needs and identifying business problems
  • Gathering, defining, and documenting business requirements
  • Documenting and mapping business processes
  • Contributing to the simplification of Enterprise Application Architecture
  • Providing support for a wide range of business applications; may include documentation and training
  • Performing data analysis and data aggregation using BI and other data analysis tools
  • Evaluating vendors and new products as needed
  • Writes use cases and requirement specifications
  • Writes test cases and perform software testing
