To gather business requirements from system users and other stakeholders, identify and propose process improvements via re-engineering of existing applications and/or evaluation and proposal of new applications.
To play a leading role in major business system improvements across the organisation.
To be responsible for the management and production of information to serve all areas of the organisation
· Be responsible for analysis relating to complex business processes and IT systems
· Interact with users and other stakeholders to gather requirements and investigate problems
· Identify and recommend opportunities to improve existing applications and propose new applications
· To produce as-is / to-be documentation to support all identified improvements
· To facilitate the production of detailed test scenarios and data
· To provide user support for the M3 core business application
· To interrogate the core business database using Cognos BI and SQL
· To produce management information using above tools
The Person: -
· Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst /Systems Analyst / Data Analyst, ideally in industry.
· Confident in systems software implementation
· Cognos BI and SQL scripting experience
· Strong knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel and Access
· Excellent attention to detail is essential
· Good interpersonal and organisational skills
· Experience in working with M3 / Movex ERP application is preferable but not essential
