Job description
BUSINESS SKILLS
- To be able to understand clients business operations and how they can best use information systems.
- Good accounting knowledge to include design of chart of accounts, consolidations, deferred revenue, multi-currency, COS/WIP
- Full understanding of account process and practises in all areas including general ledgers, accounts receivable and payables, cash accounting, assets
- Good understanding of management accounts and reporting
- A background in manufacturing or distribution type businesses will be helpful
- Interpret clients’ needs and to implement the software solutions to meet their requirements and processes
- To be able to work to specific project plans and deadlines.
- To be able to contribute to the ongoing profitable development and growth of the business.
- To deliver end user training and train the trainer
- To complete comprehensive documentation to a high standard including specifications, customer specific process guides and training documentation
TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Implemented accounting software
- Design chart off accounts
- To have and maintain good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- Ability to interrogate and report on the data
- Ability to understand and work with customisation tools for purposes of developing processes and approvals and alerts etc on the system
- Understanding of reporting tools and building reports
- Understanding of testing practise and testing developments
- Understand process design and how to improve, best practice for finance
- Writing specification for developments
