Job description


  1. To be able to understand clients business operations and how they can best use information systems.
  2. Good accounting knowledge to include design of chart of accounts, consolidations, deferred revenue, multi-currency, COS/WIP
  3. Full understanding of account process and practises in all areas including general ledgers, accounts receivable and payables, cash accounting, assets
  4. Good understanding of management accounts and reporting
  5. A background in manufacturing or distribution type businesses will be helpful
  6. Interpret clients’ needs and to implement the software solutions to meet their requirements and processes
  7. To be able to work to specific project plans and deadlines.
  8. To be able to contribute to the ongoing profitable development and growth of the business.
  9. To deliver end user training and train the trainer
  10. To complete comprehensive documentation to a high standard including specifications, customer specific process guides and training documentation



    1. Implemented accounting software
    2. Design chart off accounts
    3. To have and maintain good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
    4. Ability to interrogate and report on the data
    5. Ability to understand and work with customisation tools for purposes of developing processes and approvals and alerts etc on the system
    6. Understanding of reporting tools and building reports
    7. Understanding of testing practise and testing developments
    8. Understand process design and how to improve, best practice for finance
    9. Writing specification for developments
