IT Works Recruitment are determined to hire a driven, proactive and creative Internal Recruitment Consultant to play an essential role in leading our vision to double in size in the next 3 years.

Having historically recruited through Rec2Rec’s for Trainee Recruitment Consultant’s from a non-recruiting background prior to COVID-19, we made the decision to bring our recruitment in-house for the past 18 months and have proven successful in our past intakes. This role is currently performed by our Performance Manager, however, we recognise the ever-growing importance, value and impact that this role will bring to the business, given a full-time focus and desire to secure talent from a varying talent pool.

The successful candidate will have full responsibility for our Internal Recruitment, with the backing of our Senior Leadership Team along with the Marketing, Data and Performance teams as support.

Our hiring patterns centre around core behaviours and values that are common traits throughout our Consultants, with backgrounds from differing industries and job roles prior to joining IT Works Recruitment. We are aware of the intense potential this role could create for the right person to develop a long-term strategy to secure candidates as we recruit on a basis of 3 intakes per year varying from 3-6 trainees per intake who attend our bespoke, in-house 13 week training programme. This role will create and allow time to efficiently screen applicants.

This role also provides the opportunity to work hand in hand with our Marketing Team to drive a long term campaign to attract candidates and positively create brand awareness.

In the last 18 months, we have received over 2,000 applications for a total of 6 hires. With limited internal recruitment professionals, we are confident that the right person will be able to invest the time to thoroughly qualify and promote the life-changing opportunity our company can offer, the opportunity for our consultants to earn £6figures within an established, reputable organisation providing a dedicated training programme, supportive environment in addition to a dedicated Performance Manager and Training Director. The Internal Recruitment Consultant will also work closely alongside our Performance team with the view to support the new and existing consultants, creating a long-standing relationship, an understanding of processes and support where needed in identifying skills refreshers in relation to our sales/recruitment modules.
