My local government client is looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to join their team. This is a 6 month contract and the roles and responsibilities are below:
Knowledge of both the Teachers’ Pension Scheme would be advantageous
Management of the payroll team ensuring that they are adequately trained
Responsible for providing expert Payroll advice and support in line with current and future HMRC and Pension Regulations to Payroll colleagues
Responsible for ensuring all pay queries, correction of errors, costing adjustments etc are completed on time
