Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (+ Benefits)

The Role:

The HR Systems Administrator will maintain existing HR systems, test and implement upgrades and produce regular management reports using Cognos. In this varied and interesting role you will utilise your analytical thinking and problem solving ability to identify problematic areas, interpret trends or patterns, investigate any reporting discrepancies and determine the best course of action to correct the data. In addition, you will support internal stakeholders to resolve any system issues, provide technical advice and produce user guides for the relevant systems.

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

  • Extensive experience of developing and maintaining HR Systems including employee self- service portals (Northgate Resourcelink and Cognos knowledge would be advantageous)
  • Experience of operating HR information, payroll and applicant tracking systems, and databases within a medium to large complex organisation
  • Advanced Excel knowledge including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
  • Ability analyse complex HR data and produce management information
  • Excellent organisational, written, numerical and communication skills are essential together with accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge and understanding of statutory legislation and its impact on the electronic record keeping/maintenance
