Job Description:
Join our team as an ERP Support Specialist and take a key role in shaping the systems that power our business operations. This position is ideal for a skilled developer with strong experience in C#, SQL Server, and automation platforms. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the logic that drives our Epicor ERP system, supporting system integration efforts, and contributing to the ongoing automation and optimisation of business processes.As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, the Application Support and Development Analyst, and the Web Team to deliver high-quality solutions that support reporting, operational efficiency, and data integrity. You’ll also act as a senior technical resource within the department, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting more junior team members in their development.
Responsibilities:
Application and Business Logic Development
- Develop and maintain scalable, well-structured business logic using C# to support internal workflows within the Epicor ERP system.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Enhance and extend the behaviour of ERP and supporting systems through custom development and the use of ERP business rules.
System Integration and Automation
- Design and implement system integrations using REST APIs and automation platforms such as Workato and Power Automate.
- Build and maintain automated workflows that reduce manual input and improve operational efficiency.
- Support efforts to streamline data flows between ERP, ecommerce, and third-party platforms.
Data and Reporting Support
- Work alongside analysts and business users to support data-driven decision-making.
- Work with the Application Support and Development Analyst to develop and maintain SQL-based queries and scripts to support reporting and operational needs.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and outputs.
- Development of dashboards using industry standard tools.
Collaboration and Technical Support
- Act as a senior member of the technical team, supporting cross-functional initiatives and guiding technical discussions.
- Assist in resolving escalated technical issues and ensure long-term maintainability of solutions.
- Work alongside and act as a mentor to the Application Support and Development Analyst.
