IFS Specialist (Supply Chain and Manufacturing)

As an IFS Supply Chain and Manufacturing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimising the supply chain processes and manufacturing operations through the effective utilisation of the IFS ERP system. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end supply chain functions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging your technical knowledge to enhance IFS system capabilities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can implement best practices, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the overall success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supply Chain Management:

    • Lead and optimise end-to-end supply chain processes using the IFS ERP system.
    • Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
    • Conduct regular analysis of supply chain performance metrics and implement improvements.
  2. Manufacturing Operations:

    • Utilise IFS functionalities to enhance manufacturing processes, including MRP and work orders.
    • Work closely with production teams to streamline workflows and ensure efficient resource allocation.
    • Implement and oversee manufacturing best practices within the IFS system.
  3. Technical Expertise:

    • Serve as the go-to person for technical aspects related to IFS supply chain and manufacturing modules.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to address technical challenges and implement system enhancements.
    • Provide training and support to end-users on IFS functionalities.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with finance, contracts, and service management teams to ensure holistic system integration.
    • Collaborate with other IFS specialists to identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimisations.
