Job Purpose
To design, develop and deliver high-quality training programmes that support employees in effectively using the IFS ERP system. The IFS Trainer ensures staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to use system modules confidently, accurately, and in alignment with business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery

Deliver classroom, virtual and one-to-one training across relevant IFS modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Maintenance, HR, Projects, CRM).

Provide hands-on, scenario-based exercises to support practical learning.

Facilitate refresher sessions, onboarding training, and module updates when IFS releases new versions.
Training Design & Documentation

Create training materials including guides, presentations, e-learning modules, quick reference sheets, and user manuals.

Tailor content for different user groups, from end users to superusers.

Maintain and update training resources as system changes are implemented.
User Support & Adoption

Work closely with stakeholders to assess training needs.

Support superusers and teams during go-live phases and major upgrades.

Provide post-training support and troubleshoot common user challenges.

Monitor user adoption and identify areas for improvement.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Collaborate with SMEs, business analysts, and implementation teams to understand system configuration and process flows.

Participate in testing activities (UAT, process validation) to ensure training reflects actual workflows.

Recommend improvements to processes, documentation, and system usability based on user feedback.
Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience delivering training for IFS or another major ERP system.

Strong understanding of relevant IFS modules.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly instructions.

Experience creating high-quality learning materials (guides, videos, e-learning).

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple training schedules.
Desirable Skills

IFS Certification or formal ERP training credentials.

Experience working on ERP implementations or upgrades.

Knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR).

Understanding of business processes such as finance, manufacturing, logistics, projects, or service management.
