The Requirement

Having supplied the business already with part of their IFS implementation team, we understood the layout of our client’s resource strategy. During the implementation, the project had gotten to the stage where they needed an in-house HR consultant who would cover several key areas of the HCM module. Acting proactively, our IFS recruitment consultants identified the gaps in their resource strategy and worked with the client to plan for the additional specialists they required.

Connecting the Experts

The IFS HR Consultant the client hired was a candidate with whom we already had an existing relationship and had initially come to our service after a recommendation from a colleague. The IFS HR expert met all the criteria the client sought, including specialist module experience and skillset. A successful connection was made with only a one-stage evidence-based interview.

Process Mapping & Delivery Plan

First thing on the agenda… process mapping the system. After the process map was complete, the IFS HR Consultant started configuring data from the existing legacy system in preparation for the move over to the IFS Cloud system. They made sure the configuration plan and delivery were in alignment with user requirements and business requirements to ensure the system would meet needs. The IFS HR Consultant hired also held a clear line of communication between the implementation partner and the end user helping to coordinate requirements.

Continuous HR Upgrades

Before going live, the IFS HR Consultant would continuously work and manage the functionality of the HCM module. Their consistent work on the integration would ensure all newly upgraded modules would speak to each other having been tested at each stage of the process.
