Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Epicor Business Systems Manager to oversee the optimisation, development, and support of our Epicor ERP system. This pivotal role will be responsible for leading a small team of IT and Epicor specialists, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our business systems, while also driving continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the administration, configuration, and ongoing development of the Epicor ERP system (preferably Epicor Kinetic).

Act as the primary point of contact for all ERP-related matters across the organisation.

Manage and mentor a small team of internal IT professionals and Epicor system users, fostering technical growth and collaborative working.

Collaborate with department heads to identify business process enhancements and translate them into system solutions.

Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and testing cycles with minimal disruption to business operations.

Manage integrations between Epicor and other systems (e.g. WMS, CRM, financial platforms).

Maintain system documentation, including SOPs, change logs, and configuration settings.

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal governance and external regulatory standards.

Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for users across the business.

Liaise with Epicor support, third-party vendors, and consultants as required.
Technical Skills & Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Epicor ERP (ideally Kinetic or v10+).

Strong knowledge of Epicor modules such as Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, CRM, and Reporting.

Proficient in BAQs, BPMs, Dashboards, SSRS Reports, and Epicor Administration Console.

Experience with SQL Server for querying and database management.

Familiarity with C# or .NET framework for custom development and integrations (desirable).

Knowledge of business process mapping, system workflows, and functional design specifications.

Experience managing ERP upgrades, data migrations, and implementations.

Understanding of IT infrastructure, security best practices, and backup procedures.

Experience with training users and supporting change management initiatives.
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills:

Proven experience leading or supervising a small technical team (IT / ERP-focused).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.

Epicor certifications or formal training is highly desirable.
