IFS Application Lead – Job Specification
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced IFS Application Lead to own, manage, and optimize enterprise applications built on IFS Applications. The role will lead application support, enhancements, upgrades, and stakeholder engagement to ensure stable, scalable, and value-driven IFS solutions across the business.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end ownership of IFS applications (support, enhancements, upgrades, and integrations).

Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.

Drive application roadmap, continuous improvement, and system optimization initiatives.

Oversee incident/problem management, SLA adherence, and release/change management.

Mentor and manage functional/technical team members; ensure best practices and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
-
6–10+ years of ERP experience with strong hands-on leadership in IFS environments.

Deep functional knowledge of core IFS modules (Finance, Manufacturing, SCM, Projects, Service, etc.).

Solid understanding of IFS technical architecture, integrations, reports, and configurations.

Experience leading upgrades, migrations (Cloud/On-Prem), and enhancement programs.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, and vendor coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications

IFS certifications (Functional or Technical).

Experience with IFS Cloud and enterprise integration patterns (APIs, middleware).

Exposure to ITIL processes, Agile/Scrum delivery, and DevOps practices.
