Business Applications Transformation Lead (IFS / ERP)
This role sits at the centre of enterprise transformation, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence through the effective use of IFS and wider business applications. The position focuses on aligning technology with evolving business processes, enabling scalable growth, and embedding best-practice ways of working across functions.
You’ll lead the ongoing optimisation of IFS, supporting business transformation initiatives, improving end-to-end processes, and ensuring the platform delivers measurable value. Working closely with stakeholders across operations and technology, you’ll shape roadmaps, guide change, and champion standardised, data-driven decision-making.
Key Focus Areas
- Lead business transformation initiatives supported by IFS and enterprise systems
- Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation across core business functions
- Shape application roadmaps, enhancements, and platform evolution
- Promote best-practice use of IFS functionality and minimise unnecessary customisation
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
- Support data integrity, reporting capability, and operational insight
- Enable structured delivery of system improvements, releases, and upgrades
- Act as a bridge between business users, technology teams, and external partners
Experience & Background
- Strong hands-on experience with IFS Applications / IFS Cloud
- Background in ERP-led business transformation or continuous improvement programmes
- Understanding of cross-functional processes such as finance, supply chain, projects, service, or operations
- Experience influencing stakeholders and delivering change in complex environments
- Ability to translate business challenges into scalable system solutions
