Role Overview
The IFS Functional Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the organization’s IFS ERP system. This role bridges business processes and technology — translating business requirements into functional solutions within IFS. The analyst will collaborate with users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure the ERP system optimally supports operational needs and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary functional expert for IFS ERP modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, HR, Maintenance, or others as applicable).

Analyse business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and configure IFS modules accordingly.

Work with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for new functionalities, integrations, and enhancements.

Support system upgrades, patches, and new version implementations, including testing and training.

Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with IFS support or technical teams for resolution.

Create and maintain system documentation, process maps, and user guides.

Conduct training sessions and support end-users to ensure efficient system adoption.

Collaborate with developers on data migration, report building, and interface design.

Maintain compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and data integrity standards.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience:
-
3+ years of experience working with IFS ERP systems in a functional or business analyst capacity.

Experience configuring and supporting at least one core IFS module (IFS Finance, Manufacturing, SCM, or Maintenance).

Understanding of ERP processes and best practices.

Prior experience in system upgrades or IFS Cloud transition is an advantage.

Familiarity with SQL and reporting tools is a plus.

Preferred Certifications

IFS Certified Functional Consultant (optional but desirable).

ITIL or other process improvement certifications (advantageous).
