Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IFS Functional Consultant to join our growing consultancy team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering IFS implementations, upgrades, and support projects for our clients, ensuring solutions are aligned with business requirements and best practice.

This role involves working closely with clients, project managers, and technical teams to analyse business processes, configure IFS, and support successful project delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead functional design and configuration within IFS Applications / IFS Cloud

  • Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications

  • Configure and test IFS modules in line with project scope

  • Support data migration, system integration, and UAT activities

  • Provide functional guidance during implementations and upgrades

  • Deliver workshops, training sessions, and user support

  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving functional issues

  • Contribute to project planning, estimation, and documentation

  • Ensure solutions follow IFS and industry best practices


Key Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience as an IFS Functional Consultant

  • Strong knowledge of one or more IFS modules, such as:

    • Finance

    • Supply Chain

    • Manufacturing

    • Projects

    • Service & Maintenance

    • HR / Payroll

  • Experience with IFS Cloud or IFS Applications

  • Experience in ERP implementation projects

  • Strong business process analysis skills

  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

  • Experience in consultancy environment

  • Experience with multiple ERP systems

  • Knowledge of SQL / reporting tools

  • Understanding of integrations and data migration

  • Prince2 / Agile / PMP certification

  • IFS certification (preferred)
