Job Title: IFS Functional Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IFS Functional Lead to drive the functional implementation, optimization, and support of the IFS ERP system across the organization. The role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring successful delivery of IFS solutions aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IFS Applications/IFS Cloud, deep functional knowledge across core ERP modules, and proven leadership experience in ERP implementations or enhancements.


Key Responsibilities

1. Functional Leadership

  • Lead functional design and configuration of IFS Applications / IFS Cloud.

  • Provide subject matter expertise across key modules (Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, Projects, Service Management, etc.).

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications.

  • Drive solution design workshops and stakeholder discussions.

2. Implementation & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end IFS implementations, rollouts, or upgrades.

  • Oversee system configuration, testing, and deployment.

  • Manage UAT processes and ensure successful sign-offs.

  • Ensure alignment with best practices and governance standards.

3. Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary functional point of contact for business units.

  • Partner with IT, technical developers, and external vendors.

  • Provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.

4. Process Optimization

  • Identify process gaps and recommend system-driven improvements.

  • Ensure ERP solutions align with operational and financial goals.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within IFS.

5. Support & Training

  • Provide functional support and troubleshooting guidance.

  • Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions.

  • Mentor functional analysts and junior team members.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5–10+ years of ERP functional experience.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with IFS Applications or IFS Cloud.

  • Strong experience in at least two core IFS modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects).

  • Proven experience leading ERP implementations.

  • Strong understanding of business processes and system integration.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IFS Cloud migrations.

  • Knowledge of SQL and reporting tools.

  • Experience in Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, Energy, Construction, or Service-based industries.

  • ERP certifications (IFS or other major ERP platforms).
