IFS Junior Technical Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a motivated IFS Junior Technical Consultant to join our growing team and support the delivery and development of enterprise solutions built on the IFS Cloud platform. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career to gain hands-on experience working on ERP implementations, technical development, integrations, and system support within a collaborative consulting environment.

You will work closely with senior consultants, developers, and client stakeholders to help design, develop, and maintain technical solutions that meet business requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the technical implementation and configuration of solutions within IFS Cloud.
• Support development of reports, customisations, and enhancements within the IFS environment.
• Help design and build system integrations using APIs and other integration tools.
• Assist with data migration, data validation, and system configuration activities during project delivery.
• Support testing activities including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support during implementation and post-go-live phases.
• Work with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and development standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and internal tools.

 

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of programming concepts and software development principles.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Eagerness to learn ERP systems and enterprise technologies.

 

Desirable Experience

• Exposure to the IFS Cloud ecosystem or other ERP platforms.
• Experience with REST APIs, integrations, or middleware tools.
• Familiarity with Java, .NET, or similar programming languages.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience with reporting tools, scripting, or automation.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
