Job Title: IFS Manufacturing Consultant

Overview
We are supporting a leading organisation on their IFS journey and are looking to engage an experienced IFS Manufacturing Consultant. This role will play a key part in delivering and optimising manufacturing processes within IFS, ensuring alignment with business operations and driving efficiency across the production lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and optimisation of IFS Manufacturing modules
- Work with key stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into system solutions
- Deliver and support functionality across:
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Routings
- Work Centres & Shop Floor Control
- Production Planning & Scheduling
- MRP / Supply & Demand Planning
- Inventory & Costing related to manufacturing
- Support end-to-end lifecycle including design, build, testing, and go-live
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency through IFS best practice
- Assist with data migration, system integration, and user training
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Finance, and Projects
Required Experience
- Proven experience as an IFS Manufacturing Consultant
- Strong knowledge of IFS Applications (Apps 9/10 and/or IFS Cloud preferred)
- Hands-on experience delivering manufacturing solutions within IFS
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (discrete or process manufacturing)
- Experience with MRP, production planning, and shop floor execution
- Ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
Desirable Skills
- Experience within engineering, aerospace, or complex manufacturing environments
- Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
