IFS SUPPORT CONSULTANT

Job Title: IFS Support Consultant
Location: Hybrid – 3–4 days on-site (UK-based)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent


Overview

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused IFS Support Consultant to provide day-to-day support and maintenance of our IFS ERP system. This role is ideal for someone with strong functional knowledge who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting users, and ensuring system stability and performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for the IFS ERP system
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and user queries
  • Manage and prioritise support tickets in line with SLAs
  • Support business users across multiple departments (Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, etc.)
  • Perform system administration tasks, including user access and configuration changes
  • Assist with system testing, upgrades, and patching activities
  • Document issues, resolutions, and support processes
  • Work closely with functional and technical teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an ERP support role, ideally with IFS Applications
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of core business processes (finance, procurement, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Experience supporting end users in a business environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Desirable

  • Experience with IFS Cloud
  • Familiarity with SQL or basic data querying
  • ITIL knowledge or experience working within a service desk environment
  • Experience with ticketing/support systems

Working Arrangement

  • Hybrid role requiring 3–4 days per week on-site
  • Remaining days can be worked remotely
