Job Title: IFS Service & Maintenance Consultant

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IFS Service & Maintenance Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of IFS Service Management and Maintenance solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that improve operational efficiency, asset management, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the implementation of IFS Service Management and Maintenance modules
  • Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional specifications
  • Configure and customise IFS applications to meet client needs
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices within service, field service, and asset maintenance processes
  • Support data migration, system integration, and testing activities
  • Deliver user training and create supporting documentation
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing system support
  • Collaborate with technical teams, developers, and project managers
  • Participate in system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives

Key Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience working with IFS Applications (preferably IFS Cloud or Apps 9/10)
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Service Management
    • Field Service processes
    • Maintenance / Asset Management
  • Experience in end-to-end implementation projects
  • Strong understanding of business process mapping and optimisation
  • Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience with IFS FSM (Field Service Management)
  • Knowledge of integrations (APIs, middleware, etc.)
  • SQL or basic technical understanding of IFS architecture
  • Experience in industries such as manufacturing, energy, utilities, or aerospace & defence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • IFS certification (desirable but not essential)

Working Arrangements
