Key Responsibilities:

  • Stabilise and optimise a sophisticated NetSuite environment supporting multiple entities within a single instance.
  • Investigate and resolve historical data issues, integration challenges, and legacy Shopify connections impacting data accuracy and system performance.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot NetSuite error logs, data sync problems, and configuration discrepancies.
  • Support and contribute to the implementation of a new middleware platform connecting Shopify and NetSuite, ensuring seamless and reliable data flows.
  • Perform data cleansing, correction, and migration activities across transactional and master data sets to improve data quality.
  • Collaborate closely with external integration vendors to ensure data integrity and smooth system interactions.
  • Communicate complex technical issues effectively to non-technical stakeholders in finance and operations.
  • Provide input on broader business system improvements and assist in evolving adjacent finance tools and platforms.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration, troubleshooting, and system issue resolution.
  • Proven ability in data cleansing, data migration, and managing complex NetSuite environments supporting multiple entities.
  • Experience within product-based, inventory-led, or omnichannel retail or e-commerce businesses.
  • Familiarity with Shopify integrations and middleware platforms such as Patchworks, Celigo, or similar iPaaS solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, capable of translating technical issues into clear business language.
  • Comfortable working independently within a lean internal systems team.
  • Understanding of finance processes such as P2P, O2C, and R2R is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to data warehouse environments like BigQuery is a plus but not essential.

Working Arrangements:

  • Primarily remote, with on-site visits approximately once every one to two weeks (flexible scheduling).
  • Travel expenses for on-site visits are covered apart from the day rate.

Contract Details:

  • Initial 6-month contract with flexible weekly utilisation.
  • Engagement on a time-and-materials basis, accommodating fluctuations in workload.
  • Possible requirement of 4–5 days support in peak weeks, with potential for reduced hours during quieter periods.

Hiring Process & Start Date:

  • Rapid, streamlined process with interviews expected to be scheduled quickly.
  • Likely a single-stage interview with senior leadership.
  • Immediate or ASAP start preferred due to an upcoming contractor departure.
