The Company
A well established business with a strong finance function and a growing appetite for systems optimisation. With NetSuite at the core of their operations, they are looking for a technically capable Finance Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between finance and technology — ensuring the system works harder for the business.
The Role
Sitting at the intersection of finance and IT, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the finance system environment — primarily NetSuite. You'll work closely with finance stakeholders to understand process pain points, translate requirements into system solutions, and support the wider business through reporting, integrations, and user enablement.
Responsibilities
- Act as the internal subject matter expert for NetSuite, managing configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement activity
- Work with finance and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions
- Build and maintain saved searches, reports, dashboards, and workflows to support financial reporting and controls
- Support integrations between NetSuite and third-party platforms, liaising with vendors and technical teams as required
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions — ensuring system integrity and compliance
- Lead testing and validation activity for system changes, upgrades, and new module rollouts
- Provide day-to-day user support and training across the finance function
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on NetSuite experience in a finance systems or analyst capacity
- Strong understanding of core finance processes — R2R, P2P, O2C
- Comfortable with NetSuite configuration — saved searches, workflows, custom records
- Ability to communicate clearly with both finance and technical stakeholders
- Experience with system integrations and data management advantageous
- AAT, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified a bonus but not essential
