We are supporting a business that is looking to engage a Hybrid NetSuite and Treasury Consultant to help strengthen and professionalise its finance and treasury operations.
The role sits across finance systems and treasury and is delivery focused rather than advisory. The consultant will work closely with the finance team to improve how cash, FX, and treasury processes are managed and ensure that treasury activity is properly structured, visible, and controlled within NetSuite.
This is not a pure treasury role and not a strategy only position. The business is specifically looking for someone who combines strong hands on NetSuite capability with practical treasury experience and is comfortable implementing change in a pragmatic, cost conscious environment.
Key Objectives

Improve how excess cash is managed, structured, and deployed, while maintaining appropriate liquidity and control.

Introduce structure and visibility around FX exposure and hedging, particularly in relation to USD exposure.

Design, document, and embed practical treasury policies, procedures, and controls.

Ensure treasury activity is fully supported and transparent within NetSuite and related finance systems.

Strengthen governance, auditability, and operational robustness across finance and treasury.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury

Review current cash positions, structures, and flows across entities, currencies, and jurisdictions.

Support the design and implementation of an approach to optimising excess cash balances.

Identify and quantify FX exposure and support the implementation of proportionate hedging approaches.

Design and document treasury policies and procedures covering cash management, FX, approvals, and controls.

Ensure treasury processes are scalable, auditable, and appropriate for the size and complexity of the business.
Systems and NetSuite

Ensure cash, FX, and treasury activity is correctly structured, visible, and controllable within NetSuite.

Configure or improve NetSuite reporting to support treasury and finance oversight.

Support the embedding of new processes into day to day finance operations.

Work with finance users to ensure adoption, understanding, and effective use of system changes.
Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with the finance team, CFO, and other senior stakeholders.

Translate treasury and systems concepts into practical, usable processes.

Take ownership of delivery while operating effectively in a lean, cost conscious environment.
Required Experience

Strong hands on experience with NetSuite in a finance systems, transformation, or senior finance role.

Practical experience across treasury disciplines including cash management and FX exposure.

Experience implementing finance or treasury processes, not just advising on them.

Comfortable working in environments with limited structure and evolving priorities.
