Overview
A fast-paced, private equity-backed business is looking for an experienced Contract NetSuite Consultant to support the optimisation and reconfiguration of its existing NetSuite environment.
Having implemented NetSuite approximately 15 months ago, the business currently uses the platform primarily for core financial processes and is now looking to maximise the value of the system across the finance function. With limited in-house NetSuite expertise and reliance on an external support partner, the business is seeking a hands-on consultant who can assess the current setup, identify areas for improvement, and implement practical solutions that enhance efficiency, reporting, and user adoption.
This is a highly visible engagement working directly with the finance leadership team and wider stakeholders, focused on delivering immediate improvements and upskilling internal users.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess the current NetSuite configuration and finance processes
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to optimise system usage
- Reconfigure and enhance NetSuite to better support business and finance requirements
- Improve reporting capabilities and streamline month-end and financial processes
- Support areas such as journal entries, vendor processes, expense integrations, and financial workflows
- Work closely with the finance team to increase NetSuite knowledge and user confidence
- Provide hands-on support, training, and best practice guidance to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to resolve issues and implement improvements
- Deliver practical, scalable solutions within a fast-moving environment
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior NetSuite Consultant within finance-led environments
- Strong track record of optimising and reconfiguring NetSuite for growing businesses
- Deep understanding of NetSuite financial processes and best practices
- Ability to work independently and manage stakeholders effectively
- Experience improving finance team adoption and upskilling end users
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
