IFS Cloud Analyst

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced IFS Cloud Functional Consultant to play a key role in the implementation, enhancement and continuous improvement of the organisation's IFS Cloud ERP platform.

Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technical specialists, you will act as the functional expert, gathering requirements, designing solutions and configuring IFS Cloud to support business operations. This role offers the opportunity to work across major transformation programmes, Cloud upgrades, new module implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IFS Cloud and experience delivering end-to-end ERP projects across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Consultancy

  • Act as the subject matter expert for IFS Cloud across assigned functional areas.
  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into scalable IFS Cloud solutions.
  • Configure IFS Cloud in line with business requirements and best practices.
  • Advise stakeholders on standard functionality versus customisation.
  • Support solution design workshops and process mapping sessions.
  • Produce high-quality functional specifications and design documentation.

IFS Cloud Implementation & Upgrades

  • Support end-to-end IFS Cloud implementations and upgrade programmes.
  • Participate in solution design, fit-gap analysis and process workshops.
  • Configure new modules and functionality.
  • Assist with data migration activities.
  • Support release management and Service Update deployments.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage new IFS Cloud features.
  • Ensure successful deployment and adoption of new functionality.

Business Process Improvement

Work closely with departments including:

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing current business processes.
  • Identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.
  • Recommending best-practice solutions.
  • Supporting business transformation initiatives.
  • Driving process standardisation across the organisation.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with business users and senior stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Provide expert advice on IFS Cloud functionality.
  • Manage expectations throughout project delivery.
  • Communicate project progress, risks and recommendations effectively.

Testing & Deployment

  • Create functional test scripts.
  • Support Integration Testing (SIT).
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Resolve defects and work closely with technical teams.
  • Assist with cutover planning and go-live activities.
  • Provide hypercare support following deployments.

User Training & Support

  • Deliver user training sessions and workshops.
  • Produce user guides and process documentation.
  • Support super users and business champions.
  • Provide second and third-line functional support.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and recommend solutions.
  • Encourage user adoption of new functionality.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to optimise the IFS platform.
  • Recommend enhancements to improve efficiency.
  • Review new IFS Cloud releases and assess business impact.
  • Support roadmap planning and future ERP initiatives.
  • Promote best practice across the ERP environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an IFS Functional Consultant or IFS Cloud Consultant.
  • Strong experience configuring IFS Cloud.
  • Experience delivering ERP implementation or upgrade projects.
  • Excellent business process analysis skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience gathering and documenting functional requirements.
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical ERP solutions.
  • Experience working across multiple business functions.
