Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IFS Finance Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, optimization, and support of the finance modules within IFS Cloud/IFS Applications. The successful candidate will work closely with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements, improve financial processes, and deliver robust ERP solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead workshops to gather and document finance business requirements.

• Configure and implement IFS Finance modules in line with business needs.

• Advise clients on finance best practices and standard IFS functionality.

• Support end-to-end implementation projects, including design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

• Configure financial structures, including companies, accounting rules, calendars, currencies, and tax settings.

• Deliver user acceptance testing (UAT) support and end-user training.

• Collaborate with technical consultants on integrations, reports, customizations, and data migration activities.

• Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.

• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Prepare functional specifications and project documentation.

Required Skills

• 3–8+ years of IFS ERP consulting experience.

• Strong knowledge of IFS Cloud or IFS Applications Finance modules.

• Excellent understanding of financial accounting principles and ERP finance processes.

• Experience with finance implementations, upgrades, and support.

• Ability to analyse business requirements and recommend best-practice solutions.

• Experience with data migration, reconciliation, and financial reporting.

• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

• Ability to work independently within a remote consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IFS Cloud implementations.

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, energy, construction, or service industries.

• Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, VAT, and statutory reporting requirements.

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Relevant IFS certifications are highly desirable.
