Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IFS Technical Consultant to support an IFS Cloud upgrade project, with a particular focus on data migration and reporting.

The consultant will work alongside the project team and business stakeholders to deliver data migration activities and support the redevelopment and transition of reporting into IFS Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of data migration activities.
• Develop data extraction, transformation and loading processes.
• Support data mapping, cleansing, validation and reconciliation.
• Assist with mock migrations, testing, cutover and go-live.
• Assess and redevelop existing reports for IFS Cloud.
• Develop reports, queries and data extracts as required.
• Troubleshoot technical and data-related issues.
• Work closely with functional consultants, technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Produce relevant technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as an IFS Technical Consultant or Developer.
• Experience with IFS Cloud implementations or upgrades.
• Proven experience in IFS data migration and data reconciliation.
• Strong SQL and Oracle database skills.
• Experience with IFS reporting tools and technologies.
• Experience with APIs, integrations and data interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Desirable

• Previous IFS Applications to IFS Cloud upgrade experience.
• Experience with IFS Data Migration Manager (DMM).
• Knowledge of IFS Business Reporter, Lobby and Quick Reports.
• Oracle PL/SQL and Power BI experience.

Engagement

• Approximately 3 days per week.
• Flexibility may be required during key testing, migration and go-live periods.
• Contract/interim engagement.
