NetSuite Finance Optimisation Consultant
We are supporting a rapidly growing UK business in the search for an experienced NetSuite Consultant to help stabilise and optimise an existing NetSuite environment following a recent implementation.
This is a hands-on contract engagement focused on improving finance processes, resolving post-implementation challenges, and building a scalable NetSuite foundation to support future growth and acquisitions.
The business operates a complex multi-entity environment and requires a consultant who can take ownership of issues, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions directly within NetSuite.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and optimise the current NetSuite setup across finance operations
- Diagnose and resolve post-implementation issues within a complex multi-entity environment
- Improve core finance processes including:
- Purchase ledger
- Operational expenses
- Employee expenses
- Cash book and banking
- Intercompany recharges
- Financial reporting
- Assess and improve current allocation and line-level distribution processes
- Work closely with finance leadership to recommend NetSuite best practice approaches
- Implement fixes directly within NetSuite, including configuration changes and potential scripting/customisation work
- Support reporting improvements and automation initiatives
- Liaise with senior stakeholders and external NetSuite partners where required
Required Experience
- Strong NetSuite functional consulting experience
- Proven experience resolving post-implementation NetSuite issues
- Hands-on NetSuite administration and configuration capability
- Strong finance process understanding within ERP environments
- Experience working in complex multi-entity or OneWorld environments
- Ability to identify root causes rather than short-term fixes
- Experience improving finance workflows and reporting structures
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

- Insurance, financial services, or acquisitive business environments
Contract Details
- Initial contract expected to run circa 3-6 months
- Outside IR35
- Strong preference for consultants available 4-5 days per week
- Hybrid working model with some onsite presence required initially and for key meetings
- Remote flexibility available for the majority of delivery
