Systems Accountant – NetSuite
Salary: Up to £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Office-based, 5 days per week - South Yorkshire
Type: Permanent, full-time
We're working with a growing business looking to add a Systems Accountant to their finance team.
This is a newly created hybrid role, crossed between Finance and NetSuite. Ideal for someone who combines solid day-to-day accounting experience with genuine, hands-on confidence using NetSuite.
This isn't a technical NetSuite administrator role, the business already has dedicated system support for that side of things. Instead, you'll be the finance team's go-to person for using NetSuite well: running day-to-day accounting processes, improving reporting, and helping the wider finance function get more value out of the system they already have.
What you'll be doing
Managing day-to-day financial accounting tasks and supporting month-end processes and reconciliations. Using NetSuite confidently to run financial reporting and transactional accounting. Working alongside the business's NetSuite systems administrator on process improvements within the finance modules. Acting as a point of guidance for colleagues on financial processes within NetSuite. Helping shape how the finance team uses the system more effectively day to day.
What we're looking for
Solid, demonstrable experience in day-to-day accounting. Practical, hands-on experience using NetSuite from a finance perspective (not system administration). Studying towards, or willing to work towards, an accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or AAT. Comfortable being on-site five days a week. A genuine interest in improving finance processes within a business that's still building out its use of its systems.
