NetSuite Consultant

We are currently working with a high-growth, global technology business that is looking for an experienced NetSuite Techno-Functional Consultant to support a major programme of system optimisation, controls and transformation.

Having grown significantly since its original NetSuite implementation, the business is now looking to review its current environment and ensure the system is scalable, controlled and fit for the next phase of growth.

The Role

You will take ownership of reviewing the existing NetSuite setup and identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, workflows and overall system scalability.

A key part of the engagement will focus on strengthening governance within NetSuite, including user access, roles, permissions, segregation of duties and auditability. The business is also beginning to consider future compliance and IPO readiness requirements, making experience with SOX controls or similar regulated environments highly beneficial.

This will be a hands-on role, working closely with finance, technology and wider business stakeholders to turn requirements into practical and scalable NetSuite solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and optimise the existing NetSuite environment.
• Improve business processes, workflows and approval structures.
• Review and enhance user roles, permissions and access controls.
• Support segregation of duties and wider system governance.
• Improve auditability and reporting around system changes and user activity.
• Support SOX compliance and wider IPO readiness initiatives.
• Work closely with finance and technology stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
• Deliver scalable NetSuite solutions that can support continued business growth.
• Provide strategic input while remaining hands-on with system configuration and improvement.

Required Experience

• Strong experience as a NetSuite Functional or Techno-Functional Consultant.
• Proven experience improving and optimising existing NetSuite environments.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite workflows, roles, permissions and controls.
• Experience with finance processes and systems.
• Experience with segregation of duties, user access management and governance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within complex, global or multi-entity environments would be beneficial.
