NetSuite Consultant

Overview

We are supporting a contract hire business seeking an experienced NetSuite Consultant to optimise its existing NetSuite environment, improve business processes and maximise the value of the platform across its operations.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on NetSuite experience, with a proven track record of reviewing existing configurations, identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements. Previous experience within a contract hire, vehicle leasing or contracting business is essential, as the consultant will need to understand the specific operational and financial requirements of the industry.

This is a hands-on contract role requiring regular on-site attendance in the North West of England.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and optimise the existing NetSuite environment, including configurations, workflows, saved searches, reports and dashboards.

• Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and improve efficiency across finance, operations and wider business functions.

• Assess existing NetSuite functionality against business requirements and recommend practical improvements.

• Optimise NetSuite workflows and processes to reduce manual intervention and improve data accuracy.

• Review financial processes, reporting and system controls to support improved visibility and operational performance.

• Identify opportunities to enhance integrations, automation and system functionality where required.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve system issues and implement improvements.

• Document system changes, updated processes and recommendations for ongoing optimisation.

Essential Requirements

• Strong hands-on NetSuite experience, ideally within a systems optimisation, administration or techno-functional consulting capacity.

• Previous experience within a contract hire, vehicle leasing or contracting business is essential.

• Demonstrable experience optimising NetSuite configurations, workflows, reporting and business processes.

• Good understanding of NetSuite financial and operational functionality.

• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into effective NetSuite solutions.

• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently, identify improvement opportunities and deliver practical solutions.

• Must be able to commute on-site to the business in the North West of England.

Desirable Experience

• SuiteFlow, saved searches, dashboards and custom reporting.

• SuiteScript and NetSuite integrations.

• Experience supporting process improvements across finance, billing, contracts and operational workflows.

• Previous experience delivering NetSuite optimisation projects within a contract hire or asset-based business.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on NetSuite specialist who combines strong technical and functional platform knowledge with direct experience in the contract hire or vehicle leasing sector. They will be comfortable assessing an existing NetSuite setup, identifying areas for improvement and delivering tangible operational benefits without requiring extensive supervision.
