About the Opportunity

We are working with a growing international B2B wholesale marketplace seeking an experienced NetSuite Finance & Technical Consultant to support the optimisation of its existing NetSuite environment.

Following a recent migration from Exact Online to NetSuite, the business is looking to improve financial processes, strengthen reporting accuracy and unlock more value from its ERP system. The initial implementation established the foundations, and the focus now is on refining configurations, resolving outstanding issues and building a more robust, scalable solution.

Working closely with finance and technology stakeholders, you will provide hands-on consultancy, advise on best practice and help shape the roadmap for ongoing NetSuite improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and optimise existing NetSuite configurations, identifying functionality gaps and opportunities to improve system performance.

• Improve transaction matching, accounts receivable processes and financial reconciliation, reducing manual intervention.

• Strengthen balance sheet reporting, financial visibility and confidence in the accuracy of financial data.

• Review fixed asset accounting, including depreciation configurations and automation.

• Assess integrations and data flows between NetSuite and the wider technology ecosystem, working alongside internal technical teams.

• Provide guidance on international VAT, tax configurations and compliance requirements across European markets and the US.

• Support finance-related requirements, including IFRS considerations, and advise stakeholders on NetSuite functionality and best practice.

• Develop a prioritised improvement roadmap and provide ongoing support as new business requirements emerge.

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience as a NetSuite Consultant, Finance Consultant or Techno-Functional Consultant.

• Proven experience optimising and improving existing NetSuite implementations.

• Strong functional finance knowledge, particularly around accounts receivable, reconciliations, balance sheets and fixed assets.

• Experience with international finance processes, VAT and multi-country tax requirements.

• Ability to investigate system issues, recommend solutions and implement practical improvements.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with NetSuite integrations, APIs and complex data flows.

• Familiarity with Avalara or other tax compliance solutions.

• Experience supporting international, high-volume transaction environments.

• Exposure to IFRS requirements and finance transformation projects.
