NetSuite Finance & European Localisation Consultant

We are working with an international business seeking an experienced NetSuite Finance Consultant to support the localisation and optimisation of their NetSuite environment across multiple European entities.

Following a recent NetSuite reimplementation, the business is looking to strengthen its finance setup and ensure the system meets local accounting, tax, statutory reporting and compliance requirements across Germany, Spain and Hungary.

The Role

You will work closely with the internal finance team to review and improve how NetSuite supports local accounting and statutory requirements across their UK & European entities.

A key focus will be ensuring the organisation can effectively manage the differences between its consolidated IFRS reporting and individual country requirements within NetSuite.

Responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and improving European localisation within NetSuite.
• Supporting Multi-Book Accounting, including IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Advising on local tax, statutory reporting and compliance requirements.
• Supporting NetSuite finance configuration across Germany, Spain and Hungary.
• Reviewing local Chart of Accounts requirements and accounting classifications.
• Identifying gaps between current NetSuite configuration and local statutory requirements.
• Working closely with internal finance stakeholders and the existing NetSuite implementation partner.
• Providing best-practice recommendations around European financial processes and reporting.

Key Experience

We are looking for a consultant with:

• Strong NetSuite finance and accounting experience.
• Proven experience with European NetSuite localisations.
• Strong understanding of Multi-Book Accounting.
• Experience working with IFRS alongside local accounting standards.
• Knowledge of European tax, statutory reporting and compliance requirements.
• Previous experience supporting multi-entity / international NetSuite environments.
• Experience with Germany, Spain and/or Hungary is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work directly with senior finance teams.

Experience with Hungarian NetSuite localisation, including statutory Chart of Accounts, reporting, classifications and local accounting requirements, would be particularly valuable.

The initial focus will be understanding the current environment, identifying localisation and compliance gaps, and providing recommendations for the next stage of their NetSuite roadmap.
