Finance Transformation / NetSuite Consultant

We are supporting a growing UK organisation that is seeking an experienced NetSuite Finance Consultant to support a major group restructuring project following a recent NetSuite implementation.

The primary focus of the role will be to simplify the existing group structure from 18 legal entities to 4, alongside supporting finance transformation, budgeting and ongoing NetSuite optimisation.

The Role

You will take ownership of the legal-entity simplification project, working closely with finance and business stakeholders to ensure the new structure is implemented effectively across processes, reporting and systems.

Alongside this core project, you will support the continued rollout and optimisation of NetSuite, helping the business identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and the overall use of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a legal-entity simplification project, reducing 18 entities to 4.
• Support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with budgeting and reforecasting following changes to the group structure.
• Identify and implement efficiencies across finance processes and systems.
• Provide hands-on support and optimisation across an existing NetSuite environment.
• Support further NetSuite rollout activity across the wider group.
• Work with implementation and support partners where required.
• Engage with senior finance and business stakeholders throughout the project.

About You

The key requirement is proven experience delivering legal-entity rationalisation or finance transformation projects. NetSuite experience would be highly advantageous but is not essential if you have the relevant finance transformation background.

We are particularly interested in individuals with:

• Experience delivering legal-entity restructuring or rationalisation projects.
• Strong finance transformation and process improvement experience.
• Experience working within complex, multi-entity environments.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Previous NetSuite implementation, optimisation or transformation experience.
• NetSuite experience, ideally within a post-implementation environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• An accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA or CIMA would be advantageous.

Working Arrangement

The role is based in Cheshire, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement. The business typically expects approximately one day per week in the office, with flexibility depending on the requirements of the project.

This is an initial 9-month engagement, with potential for further project opportunities as the organisation continues its wider transformation programme.
