Interim NetSuite Finance Systems Accountant

Location: London – hybrid, ideally 3 days per week on-site
Contract: Interim

Duration: 6–8 weeks initially, with potential to extend through year-end

We are currently supporting a London-based organisation that is looking for an experienced NetSuite Finance / Systems Accountant to join their finance team on an interim basis.

The organisation has recently gone live with NetSuite and is looking for someone who can provide additional finance support while helping the wider team maximise the system following implementation.

The ideal candidate will be finance-led, with strong hands-on NetSuite experience and the ability to understand how the system can be used to improve day-to-day finance processes.

The Role

You will work closely with the existing finance team to provide cover during a period of change, while also supporting the ongoing optimisation of NetSuite.

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing hands-on support to finance users across NetSuite.
• Supporting reporting requirements and helping users get the most from the system.
• Troubleshooting AP, invoicing and customer data issues.
• Reviewing and improving finance processes within NetSuite.
• Supporting post-go-live fixes, optimisation and general system queries.
• Assisting with management reporting where required.
• Supporting the finance team through the audit process.
• Helping identify practical improvements to existing NetSuite processes.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong accounting or finance background, ideally as a Financial Controller, Management Accountant, Finance Manager or Systems Accountant.
• Significant hands-on experience using NetSuite within a finance function.
• Experience of working with NetSuite following an implementation or during a post-go-live period.
• The ability to troubleshoot finance and reporting issues within NetSuite.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and how they translate into NetSuite.
• Previous experience working within an audit environment would be advantageous.
• The confidence to work independently and integrate quickly into an established finance team.
• The ability to work on-site in London around 3 days per week.
