NetSuite Finance Lead – NetSuite Implementation

Location: North West/Centeral London (3 days onsite)
Contract: 8 Months
Day Rate: Competitive
IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Working Pattern: 5 Days per Week

The Opportunity

We're supporting a well-established hospitality business that is embarking on a significant NetSuite implementation and is looking to appoint an experienced NetSuite Finance Lead to play a pivotal role throughout the project.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior NetSuite finance professional who has successfully delivered multiple end-to-end NetSuite implementations and can act as the bridge between Finance, IT, implementation partners and senior leadership.

You will be responsible for ensuring the finance function is fully aligned with the implementation, helping define future-state processes, challenging existing ways of working, and driving the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance workstream throughout the NetSuite implementation lifecycle.
• Scope, design and optimise finance processes within NetSuite.
• Work closely with Finance, IT and implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional NetSuite solutions.
• Review current finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead workshops with key stakeholders across the business.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships, providing regular updates and recommendations.
• Support solution design, configuration decisions and testing activities.
• Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure finance users are fully prepared for go-live.
• Develop training plans and support knowledge transfer to internal teams.
• Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
• Support post-go-live stabilisation and optimisation activities.

Required Experience

• Extensive experience working with NetSuite Finance.
• Proven experience leading multiple end-to-end NetSuite implementations.
• Strong background leading finance transformation programmes.
• Previous experience managing or leading Finance and NetSuite teams.
• Excellent understanding of core finance processes including:
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Fixed Assets
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Financial Reporting
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Month-End and Year-End Close
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging C-suite executives and senior business leaders.
• Ability to influence decision-making across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working within fast-paced, evolving business environments.
• Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience delivering NetSuite within the hospitality, leisure or retail sectors.
• Experience with multi-site businesses.
• Knowledge of integrations with third-party finance or operational systems.
• Exposure to change management and organisational transformation initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

You'll be a confident and commercially minded NetSuite Finance professional who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level. You'll have a track record of leading successful NetSuite implementations, building strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring finance teams are fully equipped to maximise the value of the platform.
