Ask Louise how she came to work in accounts and the answer is “by accident”. After finishing her A-levels this local lass offered to help her mum out at work, for what she thought would be a brief spell but soon discovered she had a head for numbers and detail so when the payroll clerk retired Louise took the role on permanently. In 2010 Louise saw an advert for a young recruitment company in Preston and, as they say, the rest is history!
As our Payroll Administrator Louise is responsible for the weekly payment of contractors as well as our monthly in-house pay run. Having spent over 30 years working in this area there is nothing that Louise doesn’t know about payroll and her eye for detail is priceless in this key role within our Accounts team.
Louise is a lover of the great outdoors and is never happier than when enjoying a walk with beautiful scenery. A family friend introduced Louise to some of the famous Wainwright walks and these hold fond memories for her and the Lake District on our doorstep is an area she regularly visits. One of her favourite places to visit offers amazing scenery and glorious weather, the Jurassic Coast area of Dorset. The ideal holiday for Louise is spent exploring this beautiful coastline with stunning cliff-top walks and glorious beaches. Louise loves everything about this World Heritage Site, from the jaw-dropping awe of Durdles Door to the crystal-clear waters in Lulworth Cove and has so many amazing memories from family holidays to the area but still has a list of places to visit on future trips.
