In the Infor world, an Infor Functional Consultant is a professional that specialises in Infor Functional verticals within the ERP, such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Manufacturing.  

Although Infor is a niche ERP system to work in, there are many areas to the various systems functionalities in the ERP, and each system offered requires a different type of Functional professional. It is often the case that clients look for people who have experience in the system that their business has implemented.

Expertise & Skillset

An Infor Functional Consultant should be expected to; 

• Confidently understand business requirements

• Configure and customer the chosen Infor system (M3, LN, Syteline/CSI)

• Implement and integrate the tool

• Offer training and support

• Have the ability to test and deliver quality assurance. 

They play a pivotal part in the successful delivery of an Infor implementation, and they are often taken on in a contract capacity for the full length of the project from end to end.  

If this Consultant were to join a business in a permanent capacity, then they could be expected to work across multiple upgrades/migrations/roll outs across various company sites.
